One of the challenges in creating your own slideshow podcasts is recording the narration track that accompanies the display of images. Creating a usable narration track requires proper microphones, a quiet environment, and speaking clearly and accurately without mistakes and false starts. Use the built-in text-to-speech abilities of OS X and Automator to convert written phrases to audio files you add as narration for your GarageBand podcast project.
IMPORTANT: GarageBand version 10 no longer supports podcasts. Use GarageBand version 6.0.5 or earlier.

The creation of digital content is only the first half of the learning process. Content is meant to be shared, and there is the challenge: to be able to easily share the content you develop with others in your local network or classroom.
Fortunately, OS X provides multiple methods and architectures for quickly sharing content locally, even to iOS devices. This workshop will introduce you each of these built-in sharing tools, and define a strategy for their use in the classroom or small business environment.
